INNER GAME
Data and account deletion
Updated 9 October 2026
Delete in the app
Open Inner Game > You > Delete my account. Read the confirmation, type DELETE, then select Delete permanently. Once confirmed, the account and its active database records are deleted, including habits, goals, journal entries, check-ins and Confidence Point history. This cannot be undone. Closing and reopening the app after deletion starts a new account.
Request deletion without the app
Email bhattattreya@gmail.com with the subject Inner Game account deletion. Include your account reference if you have it, available under You > Support & account recovery. If you lost access and do not have the reference, explain that in your email; support will help identify the account and verify ownership. Do not send passwords, device credentials or session tokens. You do not need to reinstall the app to submit a request.
Keep the account, reset the journey
You > Reset progress offers two choices. Reset progress only clears points, levels, badges, streaks, missed-deadline deductions and completion records, and keeps your habits, goals and journal writing. Reset everything also clears habits, goals and journal entries. Both keep your account access, name and reminder settings. Resetting is not account deletion.
What may remain
Infrastructure logs and backup copies expire according to the hosting provider's retention settings, as explained in the privacy policy. Support emails are separate; request their deletion in your email if desired. Achievement posts you shared through other services are controlled by those services. Uninstalling Inner Game by itself does not delete the server account.
